Context :
ERC Starting Grants target early-career scientists who have already produced excellent supervised work, and who are ready to work independently and show potential to be a research leader. Through this program, the European Research Council supports high-risk/high-gain projects with 1.5 million Euros for a period of 5 years. EPFL Opportunity
As a host institution, EPFL welcomes excellent candidates who wish to apply to this unique career funding scheme, under the following conditions:
An EPFL laboratory must be ready to host the candidate for the entire duration of the project
Full HR requirements must be fulfilled
The Director of Institute and the Dean of the School in which the laboratory is integrated must support the candidate
