For one of our customers, an international publisher in Basel, we are looking for a

Front-End Developer 100% m/f/d

In this role you will work closely together with the digital experience and software development teams to translate UI/UX screen designs into functional and appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

Your tasks

• Developing new customer-facing features


• Actively participating in the creative design of new screens based on the latest web techniques together with the Digital Experience team


• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs


• Collaborate with other agile team members to craft clear user stories, design tests for prototypes and products, and continuously deliver product enhancements


• Working together with the backend team to align on and establish interfaces between front-end and back-end (ASP.MVC)


• Collaborating closely with product owners and team members to identify product and delivery risks


• Building reusable code and libraries for future use

Your profile

• At least three years of professional experience as a front-end developer using HTML5, CSS, TypeScript and JQuery and/or other libraries • Excellent understanding of web technologies, HTML5, JavaScript and CSS


• Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them


• Excellent understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them


• An analytical problem solver with the ability to deliver innovative solutions


• A strong sense of responsibility, accountability and customer service


• Swiss IT apprenticeship or a bachelor’s degree in a computer science or business informatics discipline


• German: full fluency and English: good (written and spoken)
