Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps with Cloud Skills and experience on CI/CD and automation.

We are looking for a candidate with AWS knowledge and a good understanding web application platform infrastructure that means (http server, database, caching system and shared storage) Main responsibility is to work and implement DevOps solutions to maintain at highest standard possible our ecommerce and cloud related application ensuring good performance and outstanding platform resilience.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Works on Ecommerce infrastructure (based on Magento/WCS) and Cloud Projects to assure platform resilience, performance and optimization


• Develop, maintain and improve on CI/CD


• Optimize AWS Cloud Infrastructure


• Optimize AWS security


• Work on automation and monitoring


• Deploy new services and new software according to project schedule.


• Works on security patch/update on virtual machines (EC2)


• Setup Monitoring solutions to find bottleneck and prevent issues


• Provide active support

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent


• 3+ years of experience in software development and/or DevOps.


• 2+ years on AWS  


• Experience with Agile development methodologies


• Experience with development lifecycle tools (Jenkins)


• Ability to design and develop a pipeline and improve CI/CD


• Experience with AWS Services (ELB, EC2, VPC, RDS, ElasticCache, ElasticSearch)


• Ability to work with CloudFormation and/or Terraform


• Experience with LEMP Stack (Linux, NGINX, PHP and MySQL)


• Basic knowledge of PHP


• Logs tools as Kibana or Grafana, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Monitoring tools as Stackify or New Relic


• Knowledge of SQL (for database maintenance)


• Knowledge on Magento platform (M1 or M2), configuration and infrastructure setup and operation (reindex, cache management, log analysis, db management)


• Knowledge of Big Data tools/services (RedShift, Glue, EMR) is considered a plus


• Knowledge of Python is considered a plus


• AWS Certification (DevOps, SysAdmin or Solution Architect) is a Big Plus
