Senior HW Engineer (m/f/d) 100%

For our partner, Roche Diagnostics International Ltd. based in Rotkreuz, we are looking for a qualified and motivated Senior HW Engineer mechanics for liquid
handling solutions.

Main Tasks

• Development of liquid handling solutions from concept to detailed series design considering costs, reliability, tolerance calculations, manufacturing aspects and serviceability


• Work in close collaboration with other disciplines like electronics and fluid dynamics and integrate their concepts and designs


• Responsible for the component (pumps, valves, probes, …) evaluation for liquid handling solutions considering cost and lifetime aspects


• Responsible for the design of the fluid channels of sensors used for blood gas and electrolyte testing


• Translation of functional, performance, regulatory, manufacturing and service requirements into design and review your solutions with the corresponding stakeholders


• Define and control interfaces with other system elements


• Define and maintain 3D CAD models including detailed drawings of individual parts


• Ensuring a smooth design transfer to manufacturing and service

Requirements

• Bachelor, Master of Science or PhD in mechanical engineering


• Experienced in product development from concept to series design


• Know-How of integrations with components from different disciplines into a design


• As a plus you are experienced in the field of liquid handling solution development


• Excellent German skills and a good knowlege of English


• Teamplayer


• Good communication skills to interact with different stakeholders (service, manufacturing,…)


• Highly capable of working independently


• Wants to drive a project/team forward

• Knowledge in MCAD (preferable Catia V5 or Solidworks)


• IT Skills: SAP basics / Microsoft Office
