Sales Area Manager (w/m/d) DACH South

Are you a results-driven experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record developing and leading sales people within an industrial B2B environment and willing to become part of an international organization?


 


In this role you’ll be… leading a team of eight Account Managers across Switzerland, Bavaria, Baden-Würtenbergand Austria with the aim of developing team culture and clarity of focus on key objectives including: sales of machines, service revenue, acquisition of new business and revenue from consulting and integration services.


You’ll have an opportunity to… develop a sales team whilst working in a highly innovative industrial environment.


You should possess… experience in sales management within an industrial environment and be a natural coach and mentor who can successfully develop individuals and deliver success through the team.

Principal Activities/Duties/Responsibilities


 


•Actively involved leading, coaching, mentoring and developing the sales team and effectively managing performance.


•Cultivating a positive team culture by listening, developing capability, encouraging competition and recognizing achievements.


•Supporting the creation of a business plan for each individual sales area / person, ensuring a focus on core customers, prospects, and vertical markets.


•Carrying out regular reviews with team members covering sales Pipeline, Opportunities and Forecasts.


•Ensuring the successful execution of national sales programs, supporting the field sales roll out and action plans.


 


Education and/or Experience Required


 


•Proven track record of consistently strong sales management performance; achieving objectives through the team within an industrial B2B company.


•Performance orientation, results driven but with a coaching / mentoring style.


•Prior experience with long sales cycles (6-18 months)


•Strong interpersonal skills allied to a numerical dexterity


•Excellent communication skills.


•Ability to work remotely and availability to travel on a regular basis.
