The Business Solutions Expert – IT Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing dnata’s IT infrastructure and associated services at both stations Geneva and Zurich airport. The main task is to analyze the current infrastructure assets and services, recommend and implement solutions and thus contribute to a continuous efficiency increase with impact on the various areas of dnata’s day-to-day business.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
• Ensure constant availability of the IT infrastructure landscape to guarantee permanent mission-readiness for any operational units, while leading a small team of IT infrastructure specialists
• Oversee and determine timeframes for IT infrastructure projects including updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
• Scout and evaluate new technologies to be used as replacement, enhancements or upgrades to existing server, network and other IT infrastructure equipment
• Provide expertise and ownership of desktop (Citrix) and server virtualization (VMware), storage, networking, directory services and supporting systems
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support on the IT infrastructure scope including vendor and manufacturer escalation
• Coordinate and contribute to the daily IT on-call service
• Maintains Windows server environment, including anti-virus, patching and monitoring
• Manage, maintain and report on IT infrastructure budget
Your profile:

You are keen to act as a single point of contract towards stakeholders for daily business purposes and different IT infrastructure related projects:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or any other comparable field
• Demonstrated working experiences of a minimum of 2 years in small- and medium-sized businesses
• Knowledge and experience with cloud solutions (e.g. Microsoft Azure) and cloud methodologies as well as managing O365, Microsoft Active Directory design and administration
• Good understanding of firewall rule implementation and maintenance
• Demonstrated project management skills such as problem-solving, workflow-analysis, project cost planning & tracking and team leadership
• In-depth ERP (ideally SAP) knowledge is an asset
• Fluency in English – German and/or French knowledge is advantageous
• Willingness to travel if required
The job holder reports to the Business Technology & Innovation Manager. This position is preferably located at Zurich airport.
