As a R&D Scientist in Early Life Nutrition & Metabolism, you will develop and execute research in pregnancy and lactation in relationship to infant growth & development and maternal health. You will also develop scientific network in the field of early life nutrition and health and you will provide scientific support to projects, business and markets. 


Key responsibilities 

  • Perform research to develop nutritional, and non-nutritional (e.g. behavioral and/or digital) solutions  targeting optimal nutrition and growth for infants and pregnancy/breastfeeding support for mothers

  • Explore new opportunities in infant and maternal nutrition by introducing novel analytical approaches in understanding dietary interventions and their health benefits

  • Provide support to the Nutrition Business on new concepts for infant and maternal nutrition 

  • Be recognized as expert internally and externally in nutrition research

  • Translate and valorize research outcomes in specific SBU applications

  • Manage internal and external collaborations                                     


Required Profile  

  • Ph.D. in Nutrition, Physiology or Epidemiology related to infant and maternal health with at least 3-4 years postdoctoral experience

  • Proven experience in conducting clinical research, including study design, methods and analysis

  • Experience in scientific communication, including presentations at scientific meetings

  • Fluent in English
