We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant with strong working experience in a Purchase-to-Pay environment to strengthen our Finance team. You will be a member of our Global Business Service organization and be part of our Finance Front Office team located in Baden.

Your responsibilities

• Business partnering: you act as business partner in the P2P area with focus on the finance part/Accounts Payable. You consult our internal customers and act as interface and point of contact between our GBS Center team in Krakow and our local business and stakeholders


• Continuous improvement: you contribute to further process optimizations, process automatization and represent the GBS Finance Accounts Payables team in finance and cross-functional projects


• Problem Solving: You bring strong problem-solving skills along with a highly solution oriented attitude


• Qualitative delivery: monitoring our SLA’s & KPI’s and provide data analytics for dedicated business areas for P2P. Furthermore, you act as 2nd level support for our GBS-Center in Krakow and are responsible to handle complex cases within the Accounts Payable area. Changing parameters in accounting are always properly reflected in your work (USGAAP/ IFRS/ local/ SOX)


• You support Business Units in timely invoice processing and resolution of queries


• You bring along a Purchase-to-Pay end-to end process view and contribute to further improve, standardize our P2P process, also from of an internal control point of view

Your background

• Solid Business administration/accounting background or comparable professional education and work experience in Accounting


• Solid communication skills and experience in stakeholder management and business partnership


• Familiar with SAP/FI/MM, additional experience with Basware is a plus


• Very good excel skills (VBA/ PowerBI)


• First leadership experience is of advantage (project leads/ small team lead, etc.)


• You are an ambitious, energetic, team oriented and quality focused person with good analytic skills


• You are fluent in German and English
