About the Opportunity
Our Client is a leading company in its field with offices worldwide. Due to growth, we are currently
searching for a Head of Taxes EMEA to join their office in the Zug region.

About the role
As the Head Group Taxes EMEA, you would have full and sole responsibility and management of the
Group's tax department. Working closely with the executive management and the heads of the company
divisions, you will develop and implement the global tax structure, tax planning strategies, and take on
tax projects worldwide.

Together with the local responsible persons, you ensure perfect operational procedures (tax declarations,
procedures, assessments, legal remedies, transfer prices, etc.). You will also be involved in M&A projects
and restructurings from a tax perspective.

You would be expected to travel approximately 10%.

About You

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in tax, with at least 2 years’ experience in an in-house senior tax
  role


• Experience in the industrial sector


• Strong knowledge of corporate tax, as well as indirect tax and transfer pricing knowledge.


• Knowledge of Swiss Tax is a must, as well as a broad overview of international tax


• Excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to proactively
  approach business stakeholders to communicate technical information into practical solutions


• Strong problem solving skills with ability to find cost-effective solutions


• Ability to take full responsibility for group taxes


• Entrepreneurial personality focused on achieving goals


• Detail orientated, consistent, and loyal are attributes you bring as a character


• Fluent German and English, French and Spanish would be an advantage


• University degree in law and economics or similar. Holders of the Swiss Certified Tax Expert
  diploma would be preferred
