on the development, production and sales support of automation products, software and solutions for established

Engineering Manager Visualization & HMI PLC (m/f)


Job description:


The main task of the engineering manager ”Visualization and HMI PLC" is to lead one of the cross domain
engineering teams. This team performs the all product innovation and product maintenance engineering activities
and contributes strong to product line related vitality. Furthermore proves the technical feasibility of the product road
maps. This activities includes the communication and close collaboration with other ICPD/Eaton entities and
customers.



  • Managing of responsibilities within the assigned team of engineers, develop and continuously improve
    organizational capabilities of the team

  • Strong contribution to specification and concept activities on new products

  • Perform the product maintenance engineering activities (incl. budget)

  • Define technical feasibility of the product roadmap

  • Gather and analyze innovation and technology needs of the product line and place inside the engineering
    organization

  • Lead engineering projects and work package approvals to meet financial goals and growth targets in close
    collaboration with engineering project managers and specialist engineers

  • Achieve the technical- and customer requirements as well as standards, legal requirements, other
    requirements and also the quality in close collaboration with the Quality-departments

  • Coordinate and track cost out activities with engineering contribution

  • Promotes and supports continuous improvement of processes and innovations

  • Deploy agile methods, requirement- and change-management and assure necessary state of the art
    methods e.g. FMEA- (Failure Mode and Effects and Criticality Analysis) and lesson learned measures.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor degree in electrical engineering / electronics / mechatronic / embedded software


  • Min. 5 years' work-experience in electric/electronic sector in the industrial automation field


  • Know-how in electromechanical design, electronic design


  • Special know-how of firmware and software development


  • Know-how in web based application development, IIoT application development or visualization preferred


  • Leadership experience in an comparable environment


  • Development of new products and improvement of existing products


  • Fluently spoken and written English and German
