• A vital position as Head of Visual Analytics in the Digital Transformation & Products Labs team, delivering projects for Credit Suisse Corporate Functions globally, enabling internal clients see and reason about their data better. • We recognize the symbiosis and importance of modern data visualization, eye-pleasing aesthetics, user-centric design and traditional Business Intelligence techniques such as dashboards and interactive reports for our internal clients. This position requires the candidate to be comfortable with all areas, helping our clients bridge these domains and to find the right balance and setup for their specific business environment.


• A key role in which you design creative approaches to view and interact with data for analysis. You will help build information-rich, insightful and appealing data visualizations and user interfaces for a wide variety of data products, following the latest visualization trends and approaches. As an expert in your field, you are in charge of developing and adapting the dashboards with the latest changes on a continuous basis.


• An excellent opportunity to spearhead the power of data visualization inside Credit Suisse by teaching, leading community activities, running Tableau days and doctor sessions and by building reusable assets.

You Offer

 

• You have a passion for data visualization and a keen design sense, with an eye for what makes a visual design aesthetically pleasing. You present data to facilitate understanding and to support finding answers to business questions.


• A higher education in Economics, Banking, Engineering, or an equivalent education.


• 5 years of experience in progressively responsible, relevant data analysis role is advisable


• 3+ years of relevant data visualization experience (i.e. visualizing complex data, designing data-rich user interfaces, data-driven design and development of charts, dashboards etc.), ideally with data visualization technologies such as e.g. Tableau. Experience in Tableau with respective certifications is a plus.


• Proven experience in leading data visualization design and implementation efforts to convey the story inside the data. Your attention to details in combination with your number driven and analytical approach allow you to handle multiple priorities and assignments with complexity.


• Sound knowledge of database design and data architectures and experience with large data sets (SQL, Python, etc).


• As demonstrated standout colleague, self-starter, and independent thinker you are willing to work in a highly collaborative environment.


• Work experience in an agile managed project or at least awareness of pertinent concepts.


• Excellent people development and talent management skills.
