We are currently supporting a leading Swiss provider of consumer finance product and services company in Zurich, in their search for an experienced Business Intelligence Consultant.

In the context of the replacement of their origination system (credit applications) we are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Consultant to drive/execute the following activities:

• Assess in detail the impact of the new origination process/system on our existing BI infrastructure (data warehouse and reporting)


• Data gap analysis between the existing and future origination process/system


• Identify dependencies at the data, BO universes and BO reporting levels


• Design the changes to be executed in the ETL and reporting


• Provide detailed technical specifications for the ETL development team


• Coordinate the preparation of the development and test environments


• Test and validate the ETL development


• Implement the changes required in the BO universes and reports to reflect  the new data structure


• Document all the changes and new process implemented including data models and dictionaries,  and handover them to the BI and production support teams


• Coordinate and communicate proactively with all the stakeholders all along the project (external vendors, project management, BI team, development team, IT)

Your profile:

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions including business requirements analysis, data modelling, ETL design, reports and dashboards implementation


• Proficiency in SAP Business Objects 4.X (Web intelligence and Information design tool) and ideally knowledge of Microsoft SSRS


• Strong background designing data processes (ideally hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica Powercenter and Microsoft SSIS)


• Advanced SQL knowledge (ideally at stored-procedure level)


• Ideally experience in the Banking sector and knowledge of origination processes


• Analytical and structured mindset, solution oriented and excellent problem solving skills


• Proactive personality to drive the project from the BI perspective


• Outstanding communication skills. Fluency in English required, German is an advantage
