 About the Role


 


We are looking on Interim basis for 6 months period for a Category Buyer General Services. This position has commodity management responsibility for the Indirect Spend categories such as: Travel, IT, Telecom, Car Fleet, Consulting, Marketing and other NPR categories, with the purpose of delivering value in purchased goods and services to support key business initiatives, managing RFx`s and other sourcing initiatives to facilitate the procurement process, ensuring continuous, reliable supply of goods and services, contributing to the organization`s financial results by cost savings.


 


Key Responsibilities Include:



  • Analyze historical spend data, budget, mid-term project list and define category strategy

  • Drive continuous improvements (cost and service) of assigned sourcing categories where appropriate

  • Partner with internal customers to identify and understand current and future business needs.

  • Understand market forces and best practices

  • Research and evaluate suppliers

  • Develop RFx`s, evaluate, analyze and assess results, document recommendations and communicate results to internal clients

  • Define particular terms and conditions, negotiate contracts

  • Manage and implement contracts

  • Monitor and report results in spend reduction

  • Support supplier relationship management

  • Apply the purchasing process flows in line with the category strategy

  • Ensure compliance to procurement policy



About You



  • University Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar (required)

  • Min.3 years of Indirect Sourcing experience in multiple-site environment

  • Experience working independently, taking responsibility for procurement strategy across all levels of assigned organization

  • Experience leading contract negotiations

  • Knowledge or specific business understanding

  • Thorough understanding of purchasing methodology

  • Fluent English
