At the same time, the Head of Textile Technology and his team will support the application engineers that operate in the local teams in the markets, working together as a team above and beyond structures.

Tasks
... who directly reports to the CEO. The team consists of 10 textile application engineers, and 5 operators in the laboratory and the winding room. Together with the R&D, the product management, the sales and service they are constituting a powerful team that guarantees the development and the delivery of the appropriate and expected products and services to meet the needs of the textile world. Additionally, Textile Technology is responsible for training, helping and facilitating our customers and the entire textile industry’ stakeholders to realize the value of quality in textiles and how to make it an inherent part of the managing of the customer business. The main purpose of the Head of Textile Technology is to lead the Textile Technologists into the future. Make sure that our application knowhow continue enriched, developed, maintained and shared effectively internally and with our customers via our products and services with the existing and new methods and channels.
Qualifications
The Textile Technology leader is the person that enjoys the respect of the entire USTER organization and the textile market
Having direct manufacturing experience in operating and managing textile mills (experience and knowledge in yarn and fabric manufacturing)
Having a collaborative and servant leadership style
Has courage of own convictions, takes on accountability, understands people and in particular team-working
Can actively coach his team to reach superior results, accepting each individual skills and competences
Cares about the customer investments and strive to prove their value
Dynamic strategic and entrepreneurial thinker with business sense
Goal/results oriented, high energy and commitment, a proven deliverer

Having international experience with ability to manage diversity
Fluent in English and German
