Innovative Environmental Services (IES) Ltd is an independent GLP-certified Contract
Research Organization (CRO) with its headquarters in Witterswil, close to the city of Basel
(Switzerland). We perform Environmental Fate, Metabolism, Ecotoxicological and Analytical
Chemistry Testing to support the development, registration and stewardship of agrochemicals,
chemical products and pharmaceuticals.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a qualified:

Study Director Metabolism (100%)

Your main responsibilities:

• Independent planning and conducting of studies primarily in the fields of crop metabolism
  and environmental fate


• Write study plans, reports and expert statements


• Lead and instruct laboratory staff in context with technical aspects of the studies


• Develop and validate analytical methods


• General laboratory and administrative task according to the principles of good laboratory
  practice (GLP)


• Working with radiolabelled substances [14C]


• Maintain international client relations

Requirements:

• University degree in natural sciences preferably in chemistry, biology, environmental
  sciences, horticulture, plant ecology or a similar qualification


• GLP and work experience are of an advantage but not a prerequisite


• Very good German and English


• Good IT knowledge


• Ability to work independently and a very high willingness to learn


• Team spirit, flexibility, commitment
