Due to the propelling growth of our international team, we are looking for an Architectural/ Construction Project Manager to shape the future of On’s built environments and join us at our Headquarter office in Zurich.
You will be managing the development of a dozen new offices globally and overseeing the construction of a brand-new 10'000+ m2 HQ building to open in 2021 in Zurich. In addition, you will execute on key specialty built environment projects within retail and marketing initiatives. Your blend between project management, creative thinking and technical expertise will open new ways to drive On into the next growth phase.
As you might expect from a running brand with an emphasis on design and performance, the Architecture team at On is a fast-paced place to be. You would work at the intersection of design, technology and business. This small and dynamic team packs a huge punch and leads projects globally related to office space and On retail environments. With ambitious and innovative projects in the pipeline, the team is looking for it's next all-star!
Manage and execute architectural project timelines, schedules, budget, and lead general coordination including project kick-off, estimating costs, evaluating bids, addressing technical issues, maintaining quality control during construction, punch list, turnover, opening, and project move-in.
Work with consultants, contractors, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives
Support communication between project teams, vendors, contractors, consultants, and building and permitting officials
Plans, schedules, organizes and executes document control activities in collaboration with the Project Team.
Organizational wizard skilled in process management and workflow optimization
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Construction Management or similar
5+ years of professional experience
Solid experience in project management, coordination and/or construction administration
Experience with the full architectural project lifecycle, from concept through to delivery
Highly motivated, capable of working in a self-driven, entrepreneurial environment both within a team and individually
Excellent problem solver enjoying coming up with creative solutions in a fast-paced agile environment
Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and graphics
Fluent in English. German is an advantage
Proficiency in MS suite, Adobe suite and Autocad + Rhino 3D
