As the Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Coordinator in Bloodgas & Electrolyte (BG&E) Operations you are responsible for the coordination of safety, health and environmental (SHE) topics in BG&E Sensors and Reagents Operation

As BG&E SHE Coordinator...

• you act as the single point of contact between SHE department and BG&E Sensors and Reagents departments: including chemical lab, sensor & electrode production, reagents production, packaging & QC and support the departments regarding safety topics and their implementation


• you ensure the coordination, interaction and a strong collaboration with the biosafety responsible person and the Chemical and Warehouse Officer in BG&E


• you ensure that norms, guidelines, and requirements given from SHE are understood, executed as well as that updates are transferred and implemented to the respective department


• you ensure that risk-assessments (workplace & women-work place-risk-assessments) are in place and up to date in a high quality


• you are responsible for the execution, documentation, and reporting of internal safety checks in BG&E Operations


• you are working closely together with the SHE department, Quality Assurance, Site Service and other sites


• you ensure the SHE-audit readiness at all time and represent BG&E regarding SHE topics in Audits (internal and external)


• you drive improvements, preventative actions to avoid accidents and organizes SHE-training

To be successful in this role you fulfill the following criteria:

• Min. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences or similar education


• You have proven work experience in safety, health and environmental (SHE)


• You have excellent knowledge regarding SHE regulations in Switzerland


• You are experienced in regulated GxP- environment, ideally in In-Vitro-Diagnostics area


• You are experienced in people and / or project leading


• You have excellent communication and presentation skills


• You are a quick learner, able to handle different tasks in parallel and have a very structured working approach


• You thrive in a dynamic team and act as a team player


• You are fluent in German and English
