We are offering an opportunity for an internship in our BGE (Blood Gas & Electrolytes) Sensor Development Team to a team-oriented, inquisitive and motivated person. Our Team «BGE Sensors & Electrodes» develops, characterizes and optimizes different electrochemical sensors for medical devices in the area of IVD diagnostics (measurement of blood gases, electrolytes and metabolites) to measure various parameters in whole blood. To be able to deliver the desired products, we select electrochemical, optical or enzymatic measuring principles and develop the corresponding sensor.
To support our development team, we offer an internship (or master thesis work) for ca. 6 months (can be adjusted according to your needs). We can offer you a very interesting introduction and insight into the complex and challenging sensor development work, sensors that are used in medical device around the world.
As an intern, you have the following main tasks:
You ideally have the following qualifications and experiences:
You are currently enrolled as a student or recently completed your education in a technical area (for example Master/PhD in a Technical University (FH/ETH/…)), ideally in Electrical Engineering, Physics / Chemistry / Material Sciences)
Start date: November 2019
Workload: 100%
