Description:
Patton is seeking a General Manager for its affiliate, Patton-Inalp Networks AG, located in Berne, Switzerland.  The entity has several departments including Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, Product Management, Software Development, Accounting and Administration and reports to its own board of directors. The General Manager is responsible for managing the company's finance, accounting, administration, human resources and operations functions.  Working closely with the head of sales and marketing, the General Manager will provide local leadership and oversight of Patton-Inalp Networks, AG on behalf of the Board of Directors as well as key stakeholders including the global management of Patton Electronics Company in the USA and other international affiliate organizations. Responsibilities   Finance, Accounting and Administration:

  • Direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.

  • Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction or improvement.

  • Manage day-to-day activities of the accounting and finance personnel.

  Human Resources:

  • Formulate policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.

  • Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.

  • Provide local oversight of the personnel with regard to employee salaries, benefits, time and attendance.

  • Facilitate regular employee reviews between employees and global managers.

  Operations:

  • Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with board members, Patton global management, and staff members as necessary.

  • Manage and maintain the work environment, including facilities management.

  • Manage and monitor regional vendors and agents to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budget.

  • Maintain minimal and accurate inventory.

  • Collaborate with regional Sales and Marketing leadership to develop demand forecasts for the region.

  • Coordinate with Patton Electronics' Operations.
