As eBay moves into inter-mediating payments on the Marketplaces platform, there will be a significant programme management effort to ensure we successfully deliver great experiences for our buyers and sellers within the European region. As the Programme Management lead in the EU Payments organisation, your role will be critical in driving this complex programme.

You will be a Programme Management Leader who is passionate about eBay and its customers and looking to drive significant change and process improvements to our payments landscape. You will have experience in e-commerce and/ or payments with a history of leading large & complex change across an organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with global, regional and country level organisations to establish the overall programme management structure for the EU Payments organisation; ensure and maintain alignment and partnership with Global PMO


• Develop effective plans to meet both short and longer term goals


• Drive the program management work stream within the EU region, ensuring appropriate planning, scheduling and execution; managing timelines and dependencies for key deliverables in region


• Ensure the creation and maintenance of appropriate and effective progress reporting methods at the team and executive level; regularly communicate to key partners inside and outside of EU organisation on progress of programmes, issues, next steps


• Effectively resolve conflict, navigate roadblocks and drive decision-making when escalations arise

Skills required

• Be a dynamic multi-tasker, capable of supporting multiple work streams across the Payments space


• Highly motivated self-starter, someone who is willing to dive in, investigate and gather necessary information to drive issues and tasks to completion


• Excellent collaboration and partnership capabilities


• Ability to lead through conflict and work with multiple partners, at all levels


• Strong project management skills with experience successfully delivering complex projects


• Executive-level presentation skills and an ability to communicate at all levels of our business
