Your responsibilities

 

  • As a member of the Supply Chain Management team and reporting functionally to the Vice President Supply Chain Management you develop and implement the sourcing strategy for the System & Service Business

  • Active leadership of procurement and logistics function across the several activities (maintenance, O&M, etc.)

  • Ensure Supply Chain support to tendering process for main bids

  • Plan and implement activities related to the timely, cost-effecttive procurement, ensure the process & ownership of quality of production materials is implemented and executed

  • Manage suppliers to ensure a proper QCD in project execution

  • Support and deputise Vice President Supply Chain Management

  • Assist and coach Project Managers

  • Represent SCM at managerial level (internally & externally)

  • Drives effectiveness and efficiency of operational procurement tasks

  • Participates in developing related procedures & process improvements within overall function

  • Communicates effectively with BU/Department Heads relating to Project Management activity


Your experiences

 

  • Advanced negotiation skills (Iterative Procurement & Claims management)

  • Good understanding of supply contract law (Swiss & Anglo Saxon)

  • Good knowledge of Category Management & Supplier Development processes

  • Relevant experience in medium size EPC for industrial applications

  • Experience in the Service Business (Gas & Oil Area or Power)

  • Knowledge of eProcurement solutions Good knowledge of Sourcing, Bidding and Category Management

  • Project management of a complex strategic project with long-term orientation

  • Very good market and product knowledge

  • Fluency in English, any other language would be an asset
