We are looking for a new colleague who can help each of our Business and Service units to tell their story, pass on their latest news and share their successes with the rest of the organisation. As Editor Internal Communication (m/f/d) you will be responsible for translating diverse subjects into engaging articles and reports that conveys the passion of content owner whilst still engaging colleagues from every part of the business. If writing is in your DNA, you have a strong affinity to storytelling and dare to try new paths of internal news management, you are exactly what we are looking for. You will report to the Head of Corporate Communications.
Responsibilities
Create engaging and impactful core messages and content, ensuring consistency with corporate messaging, for various internal channels
Translate complex terminology to mainstream audiences
Identify the most effective communication channel(s) to use (Intranet, Yammer, newsletter, townhalls, etc.)
Regularly and continuously update functional specific pages on our Intranet
Write and edit presentations, speeches and other materials to support the business
Ensure that internal communications are aligned with the global communications strategy
Accurately maintain an overview of current and upcoming projects and programs
Become an active contributing member of Clariant’s New Desk
Monitor and measure the impact of your communications and strive for continuous improvement
Requirements
You will have at least 2 years experience in a similar work environment
A proven track record in an internal communications role creating content for global consumption.
Ideally you have already established yourself within a global matrix organisation and have experience using various internal communications methods.
Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal) in English and German.
Ability to develop relationships with Key Stakeholders quickly and foster a productive and cooperative environment
Tight deadlines and high expectations of creativity and precision are not a hindrance to your success
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Advanced MS Office and other relevant IT skills.
Proactive and inquisitive with the ability to spot a good story and identify good opportunities
