GCS Support & Training Specialist - BG&E (Temporary for 2 years)

For our Global Customer Support department (GCS), we are looking for a Support & Training HW/SW Specialist in the Blood Gas & Electrolytes Team.


You will support on-market Roche Blood Gas & you will contribute to ongoing product care projects.  In this versatile position you act as the supporter and trainer at the pivotal point between our global affiliates and our internal departments with the following key tasks and duties:



  • Offer 2nd level support hotline for affiliates and regions in order to minimize system down time

  • Provide on-site support for local and regional support activities on demand

  • Author and maintain service documentation (iSDoc, Installation Manuals, etc.) and other service relevant information

  • Execute and support product trainings for first level support, regional trainers and global staff

  • Create and maintain training content and training documentation

  • Prioritizing high workload and deliver results on the agreed timelines


Your qualifications include:



  • Academic (Fachhochschule or University) degree or similar education in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering

  • Experience with Roche Diagnostics systems is a plus

  • Experience with Remote Services, Network Technologies, Firewalls, LIS and Simulators

  • 2-3 years field support experience  

  • Customer support orientation

  • Trainer experience, didactic competencies

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Intercultural sensitivity

  • Fluent in English, German is a plus 

  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
