The role

The Group Tax Department is responsible for the tax compliance of 65+ countries and is now establishing a new position, which will be responsible for projects on group level as well as for a multi-country region. This role is based in Wallisellen / Switzerland and will report into the Global Head of Tax in Wallisellen. We offer a dynamic, very international and fast-pace environment.

 

• Reorganizing business models and tax settings for new products/services (e.g. WHT)


• Monitoring tax risks and other tax key information


• M&A activities, such as tax due diligences, deal structuring, post-acquisition integration


• Participating in transfer pricing projects and its implementation


• Issuing tax accounting manuals, guidelines and policies


• Supporting the business in respect of customer deals


• Monitoring tax developments, legislation, jurisprudence (locally, EU, OECD, etc.)


• Supporting a multi-country region in all tax matters (declarations, assessments, audits internal and external, projects)

What we need to see from you

• Master degree in economics, legal, and/or tax (Swiss tax advisor exam on top is an advantage)


• 5+ years of experience in direct and indirect tax, preferably with a blend of Big 4 and industry experience


• Ability to adapt tax experience/knowledge of a specific country also to other countries


• Very risk- and application-oriented working style


• Speaking and reading fluent Spanish and English


• Willingness to travel (approx. 20%)
