Business Intelligence Analyst / Consultant (12 months fixed term contract)

In the context of a Bank wide project aiming to integrate a recently acquired business, we are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence analyst/consultant to drive and execute the following specific activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a gap analysis between 2 BI platforms covering ETL processes, reporting and functional scope


• Drive the ETL migration from MS T-SQL procedures and SSIS (Source) to Oracle and Informatica Powercenter (Target)


• Design the ETL and Reporting content that need to rebuilt from scratch and provide technical specifications for the development team


• Participate in re-building the reporting layer in SAP Business Objects


• Test and validate the ETL and Reporting delivered by the development team


• Execute the historical data migration : document detailed approach, coordinate with all teams involved, validate the data migrated


• Document all the new ETL and Reporting implemented including data models, dictionaries, data mappings, KPI definitions 


• Formal knowledge handover to the production support team before go-live


• Coordinate and communicate proactively with all the stakeholders all along the project (external vendors, project management, BI team, development team, IT, etc.)

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions including business requirements analysis, data modelling, ETL design and reporting implementation


• Strong background in designing data processes in both Microsoft and Oracle database environments


• Proficiency in SQL (at stored-procedure level)


• Good knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, Informatica Power center and SAP Business Objects


• Ideally experience in the Banking sector and in BI and data migration projects


• Proactive personality to drive the BI component of the project 


• Outstanding communication skills. Fluency in English required, German is an advantage
