Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f)

Your responsibilities:

  • Preparing full cycle product roadmap with focus on mechanical feasibility  

  • Working on new clean sheet designs from conception as well as the development and review of existing designs

  • Ensuring all designs and documentation meet relevant ISO standards

  • Coordinating with production team and after-sales team to optimize mechanical designs, mechanical solutions and testing principles

  • Producing schemes for solutions to mechanical problems, improvements and development

  • Supporting with project specific prototyping and testing within other departments when needed

Your profile:

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Automotive Engineering, Robotics or similar

  • Minimum seven years of professional experience from leading mechanical solutions projects related to full cycle product development

  • Knowledge of process and electrical engineering is nice to have  

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Independent user of parametric modelling (ideally CAD/Solid Works)

  • Multicultural leadership experience and collaborative leadership style

  • Excellent MS Office skills

  • Able to generate practical solutions
