Why we are recruiting The Forum is recruiting an experienced professional to support key deliverables, partnerships and activities on digital transformation of industries and regions. This position is open in the context of a departing employee. The Project Lead – Digital Transformation will support the work of the Forum’s Platform to Shape the Future of Digital Economy and Value Creation. The role will have three core areas of focus:1) incubation and acceleration of sustainable digital transformation activities by partners and coalitions2) engagement of senior leaders in advancing the digital transformation agenda3) development and dissemination of guidance for enterprises and countries Reporting lines and interactions The position will be based in Geneva, Switzerland, and will report to Head of Platform Services, Digital Economy. The role will collaborate closely with other team roles facilitating the Platform on Digital Economy and Value Creation. This will include other project leads and colleagues with responsibilities in digital inclusion, digital transformation, sustainable identity and data models, regional digital strategies and technology for impact. It will also coordinate and collaborate with other Forum teams responsible for managing relationships with or engaging Forum partners on related topics. Breakdown of Main Responsibilities • Stay informed on trends, developments, news, activities and identify opportunities for the Forum and support its partners on a sustainable digital transformation agenda• Offer scale up and acceleration support to partners or coalitions of partners driving aligned activities, including through Forum events, networks and digital platforms• Curate relevant content and engage community through interactive digital tools and platforms• Engage senior leaders from across a range of industries, regions and cultural contexts, including at Forum events, to facilitate peer-to-peer insight sharing and inform their transformation agendas• Facilitate dialogues, events, publications that drive cross-industry or private-public collaboration• Identify gaps in understanding and capabilities across industries and regions, and develop actionable, demand-driven insights, tools and other guidance• Generate leading edge thought leadership, forward-looking points of views and frameworks that support industry and regional transformations• Ensure ongoing coordination with various colleagues across all Forum platforms and support coherent and seamless interactions with partners Preferred Requirements and Experience • Master's degree or higher; MBA or equivalent, ideally in business, economics, finance or management• Minimum 6 years' experience in the private sector and/or start up and innovation ecosystems, with exposure to digital agendas and strategy. Policy experience is a plus.• Passion to shape technology transformations in business, business models, industries and countries• Strong presentation and facilitation skills• Demonstrated ability to work across different cultures and with senior executives and leaders from private and public sectors• Excellent command of spoken and written English; proficiency in other languages is a plus• Ability to work in a dynamic and flexible organizational structure• Proficient in MS Suite and driving digital communities; familiarity with Salesforce CRM a plus Why work at the Forum We believe that progress happens by bringing together people from all walks of life have the drive and the influence to improve the state of the world by building awareness and co-operation, shaping mindsets and agendas and driving collective action.
