For support of our Process Development Team at our Basel site (Switzerland) we are looking for
Senior Scientist (f/m/d) DSP Process Development
Your area of responsibility:
• Planning, performance and evaluation of DSP process development activities at bench scale
• Planning and performance of process transfers from development to pilot scale and GMP manufacturing
• Preparation and review of project documentation like risk assessments, SOPs, development plans and reports
• Representing the DSP Team in project meetings and client meetings
• Working on internal projects for continuously improving of DSP development strategies
• Providing in-depth downstream processing expertise to the other team members of the DSP Process Development Team
Your skills & qualification
• Master or PhD in Biochemical engineering, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry
• Minimum 3 years industry experience in DSP process development of biopharmaceuticals
• Hands-on experience with common DSP equipment (chromatography skids (ÄKTA) and filtration device), experience with automated liquid handling systems favorable
• Thorough knowledge of chromatography as well as filtration applications for downstream processing of proteins
• Empathic and solution oriented personality with sound communication skills
• Proven capabilities in working in interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent English skills, German skills favorable
