Project Assistant (part-time)


„As project administrative assistant you are part of "Global Technical Development" in Pharma Technical Operations in Basel.


"Global Technical Development" (PTD) is an organization of over two thousand people globally that are integral for the mission of Roche to develop meaningful medicines for patients. Therefore, PTD actively collaborates and develops innovative technical solutions to bridge early-stage, late-stage and commercial product needs. The mandate of the group is, to reliably deliver the pipeline and supply quality products to patients. The group excels in its work through innovation, collaboration, dedication, and mutual respect and adds value every day, continuously improving what it does.


 “Europe Biologics“(PTDE) supports biologics from Phase I into the Market. Our activities encompass process development for Drug Substance (DS) and Drug Product (DP), market formulation design and process development, device development, clinical manufacturing of DS and parenteral DPs, analytical method development, validation and release of clinical supply, development documentation submissions and transfer of development projects to commercial manufacturing.


For our organizational development journey in 2020, we are looking for a project assistant to work in our department supporting several PTDE functions in Basel.


As a project assistant you are flexible and can deal with requests at short notice, you are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. You are team player with strong communication skills, who enjoys working with people across time zone and cultures. In addition, you are confident and able to liaise with different audiences and you have experience in taking care of senior leaders.


Your responsibilities to support the organizational development journey may include:



  • General administrative tasks such as correspondence, meeting preparation and calendar management

  • Organization and coordination of internal and external meetings, which includes team meetings, workshops, TC, VC/TP

  • Event organization as well as managing day-to-day administrative and operational activities

  • Creation of power point slides


  You bring the following skills and experience:



  • Commercial diploma or equivalent

  • Several years of work experience as Administrative Assistant (preferred)

  • Project management experience

  • Highly motivated team player with excellent social and collaborative skills

  • Ability to work independently but also within a team, as well as to multi-task and set priorities

  • Knowledge of relevant and current applications needed in daily business (e.g. MS office, Google, Webex, etc.)

  • Strong organizational skills, strong command of written and spoken English
