Onedot was founded in 2014 to make unstructured and messy product data easy consumable by applying self-developed artificial intelligence.


We are a rapidly growing Swiss SaaS startup offering commerce and industry the first intelligent platform to source, onboard and distribute product data. An internship at Onedot is an intense four to six months bootcamp where you learn everything about B2B sales of a software product in a fast-paced environment. You will be right at the heart of the business from the start, working closely together with the founders and the sales team. Within the first week, you will already engage with first customer contacts, and your quick-wittedness enables you to navigate through different market segments, customers, their needs and our solutions at ease. You will learn to efficiently identify business opportunities and start engaging with new prospects. Over time, you can take over some leads and drive more parts of the sales process. Your participation in sales calls with senior Onedot staff helps you to further learn and understand the commerce ecosystem even deeper. Towards the end of your internship, you will have everything you need to excel in a competitive sales environment, generate new business and drive the overall growth of a company. In case of excellent performance, you have the opportunity to become a permanent Business Developer at Onedot.


Onedot designs and engineers proprietary machine learning algorithms, probabilistic/statistical methods and advanced text understanding because existing approaches do not go far enough. Our technology achieves human-like performance and has already been trained with over 100 million different products.

Your responsibilities:



  • Identify new sales targets and set up lead generation campaigns

  • Conduct cold calls to schedule demos or sales meetings

  • Drive sales process at existing opportunities and support closing

  • Exchange and identify business opportunities among our partner network

  • Prepare and run customer meetings incl. Onedot sales demo

  • Prepare Onedot exhibition at largest e-commerce conference in Germany

  • Generate new sales collateral to make Onedot value proposition transparent to customers


Minimum qualifications:



  • Excellent German language skills, oral and written, level C2 or higher

  • First experience in business development, sales or marketing

  • Ability to explain technical products in a simple and convincing way

  • Communicative, fast-learning Digital Native with a data-driven, analytical mindset

  • Practical know-how in Excel, Powerpoint and related tools

  • Getting-things-done mentality, thriving in a fast paced environment


Preferred qualifications:



  • Experience in sales for a software product in a B2B setting

  • Experience in modern sales and marketing automation tools

  • Affinity to e-commerce, retail, manufacturing and IT businesses

This is a paid 80%-100% internship position with an option to prolong as a permanent position based in our office in Zurich/Schlieren, Switzerland.

Requirements



  • Swiss passport, EU/EFTA passport or otherwise valid work permit for Switzerland

  • Excellent German language skills, oral and written, level C1/C2 or higher

  • Minimum of 4 months of available time for internship
