To support our HR & Services Division, FIFA is looking to recruit a proactive and customer-oriented person as a:
IT Support Specialist
Your duties


  • Provide a single point of contact for FIFA IT end-users, both on-site and remotely, in Zürich and at various event and tournament sites

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for the entire landscape of IT services, including hardware, digital workplace, systems and applications, A/V equipment etc.

  • Follow established processes in managing incidents and service requests throughout their lifecycle, including capturing, assessment, triage, dispatch and resolution of tickets

  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and manage asset inventories of all end-user devices, such as laptops, tablets, mobile phones, printers

  • Perform relevant activities in the areas of user account and access management on various systems and platforms

  • Providing coordination of day-to-day activities and assisting workload distribution in the team

  • Providing support to senior management and other VIPs

  • Ensuring that relevant policies, standards and procedures are followed and understood within the Service Desk team

Our requirements


  • Minimum eight years of IT experience and at least four years in a similar role

  • Hands on knowledge of Windows 10 and MacOS operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Office suite/Office365, Skype for Business

  • Knowledge of mobile technologies including mobile OS platforms (Android, IOS)

  • Familiarity with video conferencing and other audio/video equipment technologies

  • Ability to perform complex troubleshooting of networked devices (laptops, tablets, mobile phones, printers etc.)

  • Knowledge of industry standard service desk processes and procedures

  • ITIL certification preferred

  • Experience in coordination of resources

  • Experience in providing support to senior management and VIPs

  • Good knowledge of English and business fluency in at least a second language (French, Spanish or German, the latter being an advantage)

  • Sense of ownership, accountability and prioritization

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Willingness to travel

  • Willing to provide on-call support on a rotation basis
