Mission

The International Mobility (IM) framework supports the business through facilitating the transfer of leadership and expertise across The Adecco Group (TAG). It also serves to help develop global careers for specific talents identified by the Company. 

 


The Head of IM is responsible for:



  • leading, shaping and continuing the critical strategic transformation journey within IM;

  • improvement and maintenance of the IM policy framework and governance;

  • execution of the IM programme with all cross-border moves of TAG colleagues, ensuring ongoing compliance with tax, social security, immigration and legal requirements; and

  • monitoring and partnering with vendors to ensure that the services provided meets the needs of the Group and that any changes are implemented as necessary.


 
Responsibilities
Strategy and Transformation

  • Design, finalise and implement the IM Philosophy, Strategy and Operating Model for TAG;

  • Lead the strategic transformation of IM from processing engine to critical business lever;

  • Institutionalise a new IM governance framework within TAG; and

  • Partner with the Talent function to help re-position IM as a Centre of Excellence.


 
Assignment Management

  • Advise and support the business and HR on the development of packages (Mobility, Compensation & Benefits), assess compliance risks and prepare documentation (contracts, cost projections, etc.) for cross-border moves (new assignments, extensions, repatriations, localizations etc.);

  • Provide colleagues with on-boarding and repatriation support related to their relocation / assignment in co-operation with local HR in the home and host country as well as external providers;

  • Liaise with vendors to provide local HR and colleagues with the required services (visa & immigration support, tax consulting, payroll support, relocation services (e.g. shipment, destination services);

  • Monitor ongoing assignments and manage changes / escalations; and

  • Oversee the lifecycle of Assignees.


 
 
Vendor Management

  • Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) / KPI’s of vendors to ensure that services are being delivered within contractual agreements;

  • Resolve service delivery issues within a timely manner; and

  • Manage RFPs / renewal of contracts in partnership with Procurement / Legal.


 
Project, Policy and Process Management

  • Review and process invoices for Mobility services;

  • Provide reporting to Management on a periodical basis on agreed mobility KPI’s;

  • Ensure complete and accurate filing of key mobility documentation (compensation & benefits, assignment letters etc.);

  • Review the policies and processes, make suggestions for improvements and lead implementation of approved enhancements;

  • Provide training to managers and HR colleagues on IM policy and processes; and

  • Collaborate with other team members within the wider area of Talent Mobility

  
Experience 

  • Bachelor`s Degree or equivalent

  • At least 8 to 10 years of directly relevant experience in an international environment

  • Excellent understanding on global tax, social security, and immigration issues related to International Mobility

  • Advanced knowledge of Compensation & Benefits topics

  • Business fluent in English, advanced German skills

  • Excellent knowledge in dealing with stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Very good Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.

  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others

  • Proactive, independent and fast-learning personality.
