An exciting position for you as an experienced reinsurance claims and/or financial accounting professional within our Product Control Operations team, based in Zurich. You will be working very closely with the front office, COO department as well as outsourced fund and captive reinsurance administrators. The role includes the following main tasks:

• Maintenance of claim data – paid, reserves, actuarial IBNR for UNL and ILW


• Your intensive collaboration with external fund administrators to ensure timely and accurate month end NAV results


• Collaboration with external Captive managers to ensure timely and accurate month end management accounts and quota share statements


• Daily and monthly claim data reconciliation with the fund administrator as well as with the Captive managers to ensure data consistency


• Assistance of the fund administrator with data and information collection, external audit review and month end operational improvement


• Handling of Operating Expenses for various Funds including checking, processing and filing

You Offer

 

• Are you a dedicated teammate that establishes effective relationships with key partners and can make things happen? Can you bring a background in reinsurance ideally in a controlling or financial accounting role that enables you to devote to the team`s success?


• Prior experience of a minimum of 3 years in the reinsurance environment in claims and/or financial accounting preferably gathered in Banking Industry (fund accounting or SICS experience is a plus)


• University degree or equivalent, preferably in Economics, Finance or a related field is seen as an advantage


• An extensive experience with data processing, manipulation and analysis skills


• High level of attention to detail and accuracy has helped you in the past to achieve above average results. In combination with your hands-on attitude and eagerness to get into details you have always been a trusted teammate who gets stuff done


• An ability to work effectively with team members and are willing to take on responsibility and work independently


• Fluent English skills (ideally combined with good command of German.)
