For our Research and Development team in Zurich we are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer.
Your responsibility
Development and maintenance of a high-end mixed-signal electronic circuits (PCB based) for our products, including specification, conception, implementation, and documentation
Conducting characterization and qualification testing
Maintaining design resources, like EDA tools and PCB design libraries
Collaborating with and instructing external partners (e.g., PCB layouters or manufacturers)
Your profile
BSc or MSc in electrical engineering or in a related field
Experience in circuit design and characterization of mixed-signal PCB’s involving FPGA’s/DSP’s, high-speed interfaces, mixed-signal circuits (ADC, DAC), analog building blocks and power supply conditioning
Experience in using EDA tools for circuit design and simulation, like Altium Designer and Spice
Proficient user of lab instrumentation including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and VNA’s
Strong interest to work at the forefront of technology and integrate the latest high-end components
Team player enjoying close collaboration with other hardware, FW/HDL, and software team members
Fluent in English, German is a nice to have
