cinfo is currently looking for a

Graduate Trainee in HR Marketing & Communication (80-100%)

for a twelve month-assignment in Biel starting on February 1, 2020 or upon agreement.



The trainee supports cinfo’s activities in the area of information, outreach, recruitment, and communication for both
Swiss and multilateral organisations. This includes research, drafting and communication on careers and talent management in
International Cooperation (IC).





Your tasks

• Support targeted information and outreach activities, as well as recruitment and networking events, including planning, organising, reporting and follow-up of activities


• Assist in the implementation of communication campaigns using both traditional and virtual tools such as social media channels


• Contribute to the launch of cinfo’s job platform and adjacent software, including the implementation of the new platform, the launch campaign and follow up activities to create a cutting edge and user-friendly tool.


• Conduct research on careers, recruitment and talent management in IC organisations


• Draft a wide range of information and communication material such as articles and posts - for print, web and social media


• Support internal knowledge and information management projects and activities


• Participate in various projects with internal and external partners such as the Swiss Confederation, UN Organisations, International Financial Institutions and NGOs

Your profile

• Recently graduated, BA or MA in marketing, journalism, communication, human resources, international relations or related field


• Interest in global issues in areas such as humanitarian aid or poverty reduction


• Fluent in French or German with good knowledge of the other language, knowledge of Italian is an advantage


• Excellent command of verbal and written English (C1)


• First experiences in content production, communication, digital marketing or related field


• Good knowledge of social media communication tools including LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter


• Independent, social and reliable personality that likes to work autonomous and is willing to learn
