The role

Software Developer Navison (NAV 2015) (gn)

As NAV Developer you will be responsible to carry out all configuration and development activities, maintaining and supporting (Run & Optimize) our existing and new internal NAV instances on Microsoft Dynamics NAV2015.

Your tasks:

• Work with a team of highly experienced professionals on NAV 2015 technology


• Close collaboration with internal and external SWO NAV developers, project- and support managers


• Managing existing ERP NAV functionalities and optimize them (based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015) worldwide


• Responsible for end user support / problem management and standard incident and request handling


• Provide pre-go-live and post-go-live support for the NAV release rollout process and execute the NAV release rollouts


• Responsible for analyze, implement and rollout NAV cumulative updates frequently


• Responsible for system optimization analysis and execution (NAV and SQL)


• Maintain and healthcare of Dynamics NAV environment


• Develop and support new and enhance existing functionalities and modules for the internal ERP needs and projects


• Work in a highly professional environment based on agile development process

Functional and Technical Requirements:

• MS Dynamics NAV experience is an essential must, as well as professional and technical qualifications


• Strong NAV Development experience and background in NAV classic as well as in RTC


• Good documentation structured work skills to collect and document requirements of business-needs


• Good experience in agile software development practice


• Fast learner, disciplined executer and is fully focused on customer satisfaction


• Team player able to work with internal development teams in different locations

What we need to see from you

• At least 4 years’ experience with MS Dynamics NAV development required


• Provide technical subject matter expertise to various internal initiatives and project teams


• Proven experience in self-managed NAV development


• Good practical knowledge in NAV modules: Financial Management, Sales and Purchase Management (NAV 2015)


• Self-Managed, Self-Motivated and used to work in different teams and different projects in parallel  


• Excellent communication skills with good command of written and spoken English


• Fast learner, disciplined executer and fully focused on customer satisfaction


• Open for international travels
