We are looking for a Hybrid IT (HIT) Sales Specialist (f/m/d) for SMB Public & Education accounts focusing on our Server, Storage & Services portfolio:


Tasks and Responsibilities:



  • Development and execution of the sales strategy, tactical programs and sales activities.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the customers in the assigned area.

  • Increase the share of wallet, and identify new revenue and business potential.

  • Ensure a solution-oriented sales approach together with knowledge transfer to customers, partners and within the account team.

  • Plan, design and build solutions from a technical, economical and business perspective.

  • Leadership of assigned projects from proposal creation to implementation, including deal negotiations.

  • Tailor HPE’s HIT portfolio value proposition to successfully target all levels within a customer’s IT department from the system administrator all the way up to the CIO/CTO. Position HPE as a leading enterprise Hybrid IT and Services company.

  • Management of the efficient use of existing resources by building and maintaining a strong, comprehensive network within the HPE organization and especially active cooperation with the authorized HPE partners.

  • Administrative tasks related to the sales planning process and sales activities (sales processes, forecasting and funnel management, Target Account Selling planning, special bid process).


Education and Experience:



  • University diploma or Bachelor's degree in technical or commercial field of study.

  • Typically > 8 years of advanced sales experience.

  • Several years of product and solution sales in server, storage and services area or similar.

  • Demonstrated achievement of quota, diversity of business customer, and frequent customer interface.


Skills and Knowledge:



  • Expert in knowledge of HIT products, solution and service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to be able to sell large solutions.

  • Deep understanding of the Swiss market and the specifics of selling to Public & Education accounts.

  • Experience in cooperating with channels partners.

  • Solid understanding of the digital transformation and the role of Hybrid IT.

  • Hunting sales mentality with the right customer approach.

  • Account planning and accurate account revenue forecasting skills.

  • Communication, presentation and negotiation competencies on a high-level.

  • Excellent language skills in German and English, French language skills would be an additional benefit.
