Position Summary

 


You will be responsible to communicate and implement the specific category sourcing strategy that deliver a competitive advantage for Nestlé. As well as manage close relationships with the Nestlé Business under his / her responsibilities to ensure upstream involvement in all new projects. And also ensure the development, management and priorization of Procurement activities.


A day in the life of a Procurement Category Manager for Coffee Machines and Capex investment

 



  • Sourcing Strategy development and implementation, analyse trends and scouting new suppliers, manage supplier performance

  • Be early involved in NPI, analyse requirements, Lead RFP process and supplier selection in alignment with sourcing strategy, negotiate BOM

  • Manage product lifecycle and collaborate with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent quality, supply and cost reductions

  • Lowest Total Cost of Ownership, Constantly identify and implement new opportunities for cost improvements

  • Build with internal stakeholders business continuity plan to mitigate risks

  • Integrate Innovation elements from suppliers into Nestlé' Innovation and Renovation processes

  • Review, monitor and update Procurement metrics

  • Ensure that purchasing activities are in compliance with company strategy and that all the key suppliers within the spend category in charge are completely adhered to Nestlé' Suppliers Code


What will make you successful

 



  • University degree or equivalent, engineer background preferred.

  • Expert knowledge in relevant procurement processes in above market organization.

  • Experience in household appliances and/or capital expenditure buying is a plus.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels from diverse backgrounds

  • Strong ability to lead complex Procurement projects

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Proven analytical skills 

  • English language skills on native level, any other language would be an asset
