Our Sourcing team partner with the business to ensure efficient acquisition of goods and services that enables the commercialization of our medicines, vaccines and Animal Health products. We collaborate internationally and are grouped into center-led categories and regional operating teams.


Key Responsibilities


Sourcing



  • Understands the supplier/site strategy developed by the supply sectors and executes action plans to achieve the sourcing team’s objectives.

  • Develops an understanding of stakeholder’s needs and leads strategic sourcing activities by competitive bidding and selected most appropriate suppliers in accordance with stakeholder’s requirements.

  • Participates in Site Sourcing strategies and local program implementation.


Contract Negotiation and Management



  • Leads and participates in negotiation sessions with suppliers.

  • Understands company policy and contract terms and conditions and Leads contracting process.

  • Resolves issues regarding supplier delivery of assurance, quality and service, and documents resolution.


Supplier Management



  • Manages, monitors, reports and seeks to continuously improve supplier performance.

  • Acts as a primary point of contact for supplier interactions and assists in supplier’s performance assessments.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of supplier’s organization, services and contractual agreement.

  • Assists Sourcing Managers in analyzing departmental spends with certain suppliers and recommends consolidation or redirection to preferred suppliers.


Analysis



  • Conducts data analysis at the local level on suppliers, service categories, cost/price and trend of goods and services.


Continuous Improvement



  • Keeps understanding of current procurement general knowledge, procedures, and business issues in order to facilitate effective and practical solutions to stakeholder’s requests, concerns, and inquiries.

  • Continuously learns new areas of the global procurement supply sectors, its business practices, and issues in order to provide superior support to stakeholders.

  • Makes recommendations on how to improve the existing environment.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor holder

  • Min 6 years of Procurement(purchasing, indirect sourcing) experience

  • Market prices knowledge
