For our group Design and Costing Tool Development within Applications and Technologies in Winterthur/Switzerland (Zurich area), we are looking for a

DevOps Manager

Digital Transformation (m/f)

Your tasks

• Contribute substantially to critical global IT projects


• Drive digital transformation together with the team and the relevant stakeholders


• Act as internal technical counterpart for external and internal development partners


• Supervise and drive the migration of existing Chemtech IT tools, and the development of 3D CAE solutions for a strategic digitalization project


• Bring the Sulzer development teams up to speed with new development methodologies, share ideas, ensure and document best practices


• Owner of the DevOps platform for CT tool developments


• Act as internal SCRUM master


• Act as mentor and coach for modern DevOps principles


• Coordinate external and internal developments


• Support development projects on demand


• Support and coordinate testing of new versions/sprints


• Report development progress on a regular basis

Your profile

• Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or/and Engineering


• Strong team-player with good logical thinking


• Ability to code in different languages e.g. C#, F#, .Net etc.


• Experienced in Azure DevOps


• DevOps certification (min foundation level)


• SCRUM master certification


• 5 years of experience in software/cloud architecture


• Experienced in CI/CD incl. automated testing


• Proactive, fast learner, reliable and detail focused


• Fluent in English, German would be an advantage
