Job Overview

  • Focused on providing HR professional services

  • Partners with management to develop and maintain employee relationships to create a respectful working environment for the site Pratteln through communication, performance management, and processing grievances and/or disputes.

  • Advises line managers on personnel procedures and precedents.

  • Investigates and resolves day-to-day employee relations problems, either directly or through advice to line management.

  • With guidance, interprets and communicates company policies and ensures legal compliance 

  • Investigates and drafts grievance replies.

  • Participates in the recruitment process, placing internal and external ads, narrowing down candidates, and preparing documentation.

  • Helps develop, modify and deliver training programs

  • Review of personnel related documents for accuracy and completeness, maintaining files and records of a confidential nature, and preparing periodic standardized reports.

  • May process various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, etc.

  • Provides support for administration, basic configuration and maintenance of time & attendance system

  • Provides manager/employee access to and training for time and attendance system


What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above or equivalent experience; HR related major preferred

  • Familiarity with Talent Management, HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Labor relations

  • Fluent in English and German. Italian skills will be high recommended and another language like French is also nice to have.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organization 

  • Customer Service mindset; Drive for Results

  • Autonomous; Self-confident and able a high level of multi- tasking
