Your responsibilities
Reports to the Project Director, responsible for the portfolio of Quality Assurance & Quality Control activities within the project
Prepares and deploys a Project Quality Plan in line with the project contractual requirements
Drives the preparation of the Inspection and Test Plans and Quality Control Plan in line with the contract requirements
Entry point within the project for customer’s queries in terms of quality
Monitors the work of the Supplier Quality team and Site Quality Manager
Deploys a set of Quality KPIs to control progress of the Quality activities and deliverables
Manages the participation of the customer in shop witness points
Monitors and drives the activities to comply with technical regulations and standards within the project
Controls the portfolio of non-quality events within the project
Ensures high impact events are addressed by adequate and immediate problem-solving methodology. Controls progress of the resolution of high impact events within the project and trains project team members in the methodology as required.
Your experiences
Completed Bachelor's/Master's studies in engineering
A minimum of 5 years QA/QC experience in an EPC project environment, preferably in the power industry
Experience with 8D problem solving methodology or equivalent
Driving adherence to technical regulations and standards
Self-driven, team player, resilient, able to communicate effectively
Knowledge in welding, NDT and coating are an advantage
Very good written and spoken English; knowledge of German would be an advantage
