Your responsibilities



  • Utilize the ServIS database to understand the existing installed base and identify and develop Sales opportunities for ABB industrial robots in Switzerland

  • Drive Sales volume and margin across the entire ABB Robotics Service product portfolio in collaboration with the new product Sales and regularly updating ServIS with changes made on-site

  • Establish long-term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations, respond immediately to issues and demonstrate in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote product Life Cycle Management

  • Communicate contract details in accordance with ABB offerings and strategy and manage associated administrative sales processes

  • Prepare and review sales plans and propose recovery actions when needed to ensure all targets are met

  • Implement the Service Sales strategy, with a focus on penetrating installed base, and promote various upgrade, retrofit and value add solutions to the benefit of the customer and ABB

  • Actively promote ABB’s Robotics Service products and solutions during various marketing activities (trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings) while monitoring customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing team

  • Implement a Robotics Service Sales strategy for the French speaking part of Switzerland


Your background



  • Diploma of Higher Education (TS/HF) in a technical field

  • More than two years of experience in a Sales and Marketing role preferably in a Service Sales environment

  • Sound knowledge of production and logistics processes

  • Knowledge of commercial aspects and contract handling within a sales organization

  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships

  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills

  • Fluency in German and English, French on a verbal conversation level
