Liebherr Machines Bulle SA is the centre of excellence for combustion engines (diesel and gas engines) and hydraulic components. The company develops and produces various products which are used in the fields of building construction and civil engineering, mining, agriculture, decentralised energy, machine and plant engineering, as well as aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of customer documentation and 8D reports in collaboration with internal departments


• Regular attendance in meetings (including preparation) with the customer to follow-up on open points


• Planning with supplier management and project management (development) quality manager


• Responsibility for customer PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and follow-up of PPAP availability


• Preparation of customer visits and audits and accountability for technical reviews and audits as required by the customer


• Overall responsibility for claim handling and problem solving (8D etc.) and ensure targeted response time


• Lead or participate in Quality Management related and cross-functional projects and statistical analysis

Requirements

• Master or Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or similar qualification


• Thorough knowledge of quality methods, additional trainings in Quality Management and related disciplines would be an advantage


• 3 to 4 years of professional experience in a similar position within a matrix organisation and with direct customer contact


• Proficiency in English and in German, good knowledge in French is an asset


• Very good knowledge with MS Office, a CRM software and good knowledge of an ERP software


• Good analytical and communication skills, independence as well as team player attitude, assertiveness and customer orientation
