The infrastructure private equity investments team of Swiss Life Asset Managers is managing over €5 billion on behalf of Swiss Life and external clients. Our mandate is focused on investments in core, core+ and value-add infrastructure assets in OECD countries. The international and dynamic team is based in Zurich and consists of over 20 investment professionals with extensive investment experience in infrastructure and private equity. We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join the team in Zurich to cover the following tasks and responsibilities:

Your area of responsibility

• Taking ownership of all operational aspects of a dedicated third-party infrastructure mandate


• Implementation and optimization of investment structures of our investments in close collaboration with the deal teams


• Day-to-day business of portfolio management, including liquidity management and administration of investment structures


• Involvement in valuation and risk management processes


• Close contact with client and mandate-specific reporting coordination, strong interaction with external service providers


• Potential assumption of directorship functions within the structure


• Involvement in AML/KYC checks in relation with acquisitions and divestments

  Additional responsibilities

• Involvement in syndication processes


• Involvement in live transactions as member of the deal team

Your profile

• 5 years or more of relevant working experience, either within the portfolio management function of an AIFM, a depositary role focusing on infrastructure investments and/or private equity, or relevant structuring work within a Big 4 firm


• Experience in working in a dynamic and close-knit atmosphere, being able to work both independently and as part of a team


• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships in an international business environment with internal and external partners


• Superior problem-solving skills as well as the ability to multi-task and handle deadlines without supervision


• Hands-on mentality and readiness to engage with internal and external partners from different professional backgrounds and different levels of seniority (accounting, legal, tax, transactions,…)


• Strong interest in financial modelling and valuation, understanding of accounting and tax principles


• Knowledge of the regulatory and tax environment of Luxembourg is a plus


• Fluent in English, knowledge of German is a plus
