Debiopharm Group™ is a Swiss-based global biopharmaceutical group of five companies active in the development and manufacture of drugs and diagnostics tools. Debiopharm focuses on developing prescription drugs that target unmet medical needs. The group in-licenses and develops promising drug candidates. The products are commercialized by pharmaceutical out-licensing partners to give access to the largest number of patients worldwide.

For our Market Intelligence team based in Lausanne we are looking for a:

Market Intelligence trainee

(6 months temporary contract)

Are you interested in developing your knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry? Join our Market Intelligence team and actively support them in the analysis of deal trends in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take part in the elaboration of the report and the representation of key findings.

Your main responsibilities

• Conduct information research concerning deals (license agreements, company acquisitions, R&D collaborations) over a given period;


• Analyze dynamics according to various criteria: typology of agreements, territories, players, state of advancement of the technology, etc;


• Put the results into perspective in the context of Debiopharm’s business model.

Your profile

• University education in Science, applied sciences of relevance for the pharmaceutical industry or Business Administration with a high interest for the scientific field;


• Strong analytic skills;


• At ease with numbers;


• Excellent English and French knowledge (spoken and written);


• Self-driven and pro-active;


• Able to work in a team.
