For our 'Digital Workplace Solutions' organization we are looking for an experienced Global IT Operations Manager 100% (f/m/d)


The position is located at our global operational headquarters in Greifensee, Zurich.

In this role, you oversee the delivery and operational management of a portfolio of IT Services supporting our Business Units. You support and provide governance for Regional IT Solutions, Local IT teams and oversee regional Consolidation & Integration projects from an IT perspective. You are accountable for the continuous improvement of Regional and Local IT Operations as measured by a prioritized set of KPIs, Financial Targets and IT Operational Metrics. You are accountable for the delivery and sustainability of our global IT initiatives across all Regional and Local IT Solutions teams.



  • Define strategic roadmap and key objectives to improve our Business Unit IT and Service Desk Operations

  • Ensure Regional IT Services teams continually implement key objectives

  • Support integration of Local IT into central IT Services teams

  • Support key investment decisions that reduce group IT costs and improve end-user support transition local to centralized support services

  • Lead strategic initiatives and projects, drive adherence to operational SLAs, and support Regional IT Services Teams to achieve globally defined financial and operational targets

  • Build a high performance culture in Regional IT Teams through active engagement, continuous improvement initiatives, and identification of skills and gaps

  • Invest time and energy to shape the method of collaboration between local and regional IT service teams, cross-regional focus areas, as well as implement a modernized approach to information exchange between Business Unit IT Teams and all Digital Business Services departments

  • With the support of regional IT Services teams, maintain a global overview of legacy and on-premise solutions with migration/decommissioning plans

  • Support and contribute to the improvement of workplace technologies, IT operational efficiency and cost drivers


Ihr Profil



  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Business Systems, Economics or similar

  • 10+ years of IT experience with multiple projects or IT services in globally distributed environments

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through effective IT leadership (Governance, Budgets etc.)

  • Well experienced in working in a matrixed organization across borders, cultures, and time-zones

  • Organizational Design experience, in multi-regional environments

  • Portfolio Management experience, ideally in Lean/Agile environments

  • Good team player with a critical yet result-oriented attitude

  • Very good Leadership skills / Team Lead attitude

  • Ability to work in a global and fast moving environment (cultural awareness)

  • Willingness to travel 20-25% between global offices is required
