Job Description


Our Support Functions deliver services and makes recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the experience of working at our organization. Our Support Functions include HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Procurement, Administration, Facilities and Security. . 


We are seeking for an energetic, forward-thinking professional to join our Application Managed Services (AMS) team. As an AMS Application Lead, you will be responsible for Maintenance Support and Operations of various business applications within Switzerland. The scope of work is a pre-defined set of applications which are assigned to the Application Lead. However, it is not limited to this set when additional support is requested as a result of changing business priorities, new demand or application retirement. .


THE PRIMARY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:



  • Single point of contact for a set of applications

  • Operation of services for IT systems and applications within the defined market, to ensure sustainment of business operations contained within the defined scope

  • Supplier and SLA Management

  • Demand Management

  • Compliance of the functional area, IT systems and processes

  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation

  • Ensures and promotes collaboration with other IT divisions as well as parts of our company business, both locally and globall

  • Financial Management related to the operational application support are

  • Traveling within the market across different sites.


AMS Service Management:



  • Drive business-IT outcomes; manage communications and expectations with business clients

  • Participate in governance meetings with the Service Provider

  • Participate in negotiations with Service Providers, e.g. contract issues, new services

  • Manage continuous improvement process

  • Collaborate with business and solution architect functions as needed.

  • Monitor & report to client on IT performance in support of business objectives.

  • Ensure that all service management processes, procedures, operating level agreements and underpinning contracts are appropriate for the agreed service level targets

  • Act as point of escalation for any local market service level related issues

  • Track Service Provider performance and ensure business viability of service levels

  • Report status, issues, etc. to management and escalate, when necessary

  • Provide guidance and control as defined by company ITIL processes and SOPs

  • Manages and ensures CMDB accuracy

  • Supports IT local and global projects


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • BSc Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Math, or equivalent with 3 years relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated background knowledge from validated environments. 

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

  • Understanding of System Development Life Cycle for computerized systems.

  • Experience working according to ITIL processes. ITIL certification.

  • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with all levels of business leadership and operational teams.

  • Excellent facilitation, consultation, and Influencing skills, including experience with outsourced service providers

  • Able to explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding.

  • Proven experience of working within an IT service framework (ITIL), throughout the service lifecycle.
