Description


Gamaya is currently at the forefront of hyperspectral imaging, having the smallest integrated hyperspectral system currently on the market. As our Senior Hardware Architect, you will be taking an active role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Gamaya hardware and firmware. You will need to have extensive knowledge of hyperspectral imaging systems, excellent C++ coding skills, and a drive to write fast, memory-efficient code in order to run code on our low power embedded system. Image processing skills are also a must as some processing happens on the camera itself. Lastly, prior experience with hyperspectral remote sensing and drone integration is also required, as the camera needs to integrate with different aerial platforms, currently on the market.


Requirements


Required Experience:



  • 6+ years of C/C++ programming experience

  • 3+ years of embedded software development

  • Experience with aerial hyperspectral imaging

  • Experience with unmanned aerial vehicles

  • Strong image processing background required


Required Qualifications:



  • Deep understanding of Embedded Linux (Yocto)

  • Proficiency in C/C++, STL, boost

  • Experience with image processing and computer vision (OpenCV)

  • Experience in SoC platforms (Intel Edison, Samsung Artik)

  • Experience in multiple operating systems such as Windows, Unix, Linux, etc

  • Experience in embedded controller design, implementation and testing

  • Experience in programming with ARM, Cortex, Atmel controllers

  • Experience in debugging hardware and software

  • Experience in reading and reviewing schematics

  • Familiar with hardware interfaces (MIPI, USB, UART, I2C, SPI)

  • Familiar with Bash scripting, Python

  • Familiar with GNU toolchain (gcc, as, ld, make, sed, etc.)

  • Familiar with scopes and logic analyzers
