HR Generalist  position is responsible for the whole HR life cycle. Ensuring that candidates and employees have a magical experience beginning on their first day and throughout their career at BC with our culture and values. This position focuses on providing customer service in relation to general HR support and implementing innovative and scalable processes to make HR easy and useful. 


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Act as a first point of contact for all requests related to HR coming from the assigned business divisions 

  • Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance when appropriate

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, increase productivity and retention

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance

  • Independent execution of HR tasks and delivery of HR service across all HR processes such a recruiting coordination & onboarding, HR support during employee lifecycle and exit

  • Responsible for the recruitment process through placing job advertisements, arranging interviews, obtaining and documenting references, informing employment agencies and applicants 

  • Focus on the daily HR operations including correspondence with employees and line managers, support HR Business Partner  and conducting meetings with employees

  • Advise leadership on hiring and termination


 


Required Academic & Technical Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree or commercial apprenticeship with further education in HR

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role preferrably in an international company

  • Prior experience as an HR Generalist in a factory side environment

  • Flair for administration and processes with strong organizational skills; ability to set priorities, and manage tight timescales

  • Project management experiences is not required but a strong orientation and willingness to participate in projects

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times

  • Excellent written & spoken German and English

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Thorough knowledge of labor legislation is a must
